The Scottish Epilepsy Initiative plans to raise money to contribute to a range of potential projects with specific emphasis on supporting the development of:
a centre of excellence with diagnostic and treatment facilities, including surgery, for people with epilepsy in Scotland.
interdisciplinary research in epilepsy in Scotland encompassing scientific, clinical and service-related projects.
development of enhanced consultations for people with problems related to epilepsy in Scotland using modern telemedicine technologies.
educational programmes that meet the needs of healthcare professionals in Scotland working with people with epilepsy.
